Well, I am really looking forward to the day when someone shows me how to put photos on my blog and also some music. Wow, these blogs are really cool.

I had the best July 4th ever, except for missing all the rest of the family, but as far as the actual day went it was fabulous. I am such a total vegetarian animal lover, but I girtted my teeth while little boys and girls did mutton busting and had pie eating contests and hot dogs and melon and climbed greased poles. I entered the spirit of everything until the little boys chased a little pig and caught it and four boys held it splayed out by its legs. I was sure they would break its little legs off and could not help standing up and speaking up "someone help that poor little pig! theyare going to break its legs! Chris, my son in law said i was not allowed to come with him to any rodeos! :)

It was so wonderful because the weather was absolutely perfect. Being up in the canyon made it cooler and it was just such a wonderful fmaily atmosphere. we loved being with Chirs and Christin and the children. Such a treat for us.

John and I also called up Snowbasin and it was wonderful with music and food on the patio and a beautiful lodge.

I went out with my friend Julie Grose yesterday to The Oaks for lunch. We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We lunched by the river and had a great time. I am so blessed.

Today I met a lady who told me all her troubles. I told her to write it down and then burn it all and write the opposite. She loved it. Wanted to make an appointment with me for my business, (I do Holistic Healing and Emotional Release work) but I just told her I would see her next week and have a drink with her. I need to rest, I have been working so hard recently. I can't wait to get a web site up and running though. I need to be a savvy business woman. :)

John and I went to San Francisco a few weeks ago ( I am not too good at keeping this blog up to date) We loved San Francisco, and we are great fans of the Kimpton Inns. They have a theme to their hotel and the one we stayed in was right by China Town. The theme was Pop Art. San Francisco was everything and more. I loved it! We went to a wonderful workshop on Gratitude and Abundance. The owners of Cafe Gratitude, the Terces, ran the workshop. They own four raw food restuarants with food to live for! even key lime pie and Tiramisu - raw - a very full delicious and most healthy menu. I was in heaven, lots of wonderful people who were living the gratitude and they ask you what you are grateful for each time you enter the restaurant.

we had to go out each day and give money away - it was part of the workshop. Also to give something materail each day of our lives. The Terces are living examples of love. They teach Sacred Commerce. Sacred Commerce allows businesses to be run on love. Sounds a bit soppy to some people I know, but it works! They have emotional clearing every morning for the whole 110 employees. if someone makes a mistake they are taught to put their hand up and say, " I made a mistake! I need help." If a glass gets broken, everyone claps. The whole aim is no blame and shame and put downs. We are here to lift and inspire one another. If the till is down consistently, they will mention in their weekly meetings that there is a problema nd they care about their employees before anything else. They ask whoever is taking the money to come clean and let them help them. They have had people leave and then confess - and then they help them and then rehire them. Wow! This is the kind of world I want to be part of and want to contribute too.
We were also taught to laugh for one minute each day. Still waiting for John to join in with me. His great grandmother once won a competition for not smiling so I am really hoping it is not handed down in the family. :) Ha ha.

Seriously, he is a great smiler and the love of my life. I miss him so much. He is in Connecticut.

My grandson, Landon, is really confident and he thinks nothing of having full conversations with most anyone, no matter what their age.

He was in a restaurant up the canyon with his parents. He turned to this guy and said, "The toilet is over there if you need to go." the man thanked him and Landon continued. "But if you want to poo, don't go in there because there is no door on!" This was all said in a loud voice for the whole restuarant to hear.
Fabulous!

I love love love my family, and my friends.

So nice to hear what you have been up to. We'll show you how to put your pictures up too. It would be nice to see those. It is so important to be grateful for what we have. I love how Oprah has a gratitude journal that you fill out each night. It's a very positive thing to do. Thanks for the update, looking forward to more! Luv ya.
