cats and grandchildren

We had a great time at my eldest daughters, Jacqueline and Chris's home last Sunday after our second eldest grandson, Josh was set apart for the Melchizedek priesthood, getting ready for going on his mission which he will put in for soon - his family are the ones who came from England. We did easter Eggs and gifts and it was so wonderful for us all to be together.

Victoria stayed over and John and I took Kenna and Jacob and Brinlee out the next night which was St. Patricks day. It was so much fun. we went to Beuss pond and jumped in snow, hiked hills and the children 'secretly' paddled for a moment in the water and then jumped in grandads car which he had waiting for them with the heater on. I told them we were going to be free and happy and roll in snow and have a great time.
We were playing at guessing what animals we were like. we were discussing how Kenna and my self were like a cow. I said that cows are patient and calm with big eyes and that a friend once told me I reminded them of a cow. jacob said, "Oh yes, you are like a cow because they roll in poo a lot."
i lost my cat the other day and was heartbroken but after hours of looking for her she jumped down from the high shelf in the closet at two in the morning. She was so upset because everyone had loved our new cat more and then John had, and when she hissed he told her off. so off she went to sulk and she has never ever not answered me so I thought she was gone for sure.
I so love them but my greatest love of all is to be with my family and especially the grandchildren - there is something so precious about the young and the old and I guess I am now old. A beautiful little African American girl talked with me today in the Post Office - we talked avbout all kinds of things and I swear she knew me from another time before we came to earth. She stared in my eyes and motioned for me to get down to her height and said, "You look different from before. Happy days.

The Cats

I hope I am doing this right. Anyway, my daughter, Victoria helped me to get this going, for which I am so grateful. I really want now to know how to put photos on. I have just got the sweetest kitten - about 8 months old. She is a black and silver tabby, Lulu our other cat is lighter and fluffier, but this kitten, which we got to keep Lulu company is just the friendliest most mellow and sweetest thing. purrs all the time. Lulu is terrified. she was a ferral kitten and the other cats picked on her when she was really tiny. She is slowly coming around but as yet will not come within more than six feet of the other cat. We do not have a name yet. I ahve researched and this can be quite common. If she does not warm up in two weeks I have a spare kitten to go somewhere else. Very good with children. Came from a home of ten children originally, but hopefully I will be able to tell you all that Lulu settled down and accepted the other cat.
I am still coughing from the flu but I am using cayenne in water to gargle - definitely the best to get rid of sore throat.
I took Landon to the Hot Springs last week. I love being a grandma, or nanna as they say, more than anything. We had such a good time.
